Meet Dr. Reed
Anita H. Reed, Ph.D, LCSW, Co-Founder and CEO of NobleTrust Consulting, LLC is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist with more than 35 years of experience. Much of her clinical experience has included working with at-risk adolescents and their families in a wide array of settings, including residential, schools, and private practice. Her current specialty areas include adolescent and young adult mental health, program development and analysis, and clinical supervision.
Dr. Reed has a particular interest in depression in Black men and has presented at local and national conferences and has been featured on radio and podcast programs. Her company’s signature program, Cinematic Conversations: Black Men and Mental Health, uses the medium of film to discuss and highlight depression and death by suicide amongst Black men. In addition, NobleTrust consultants provide therapy, trauma evaluations/assessments, psychological evaluations, as well as professional development to clinicians and educators.
Dr. Reed has served as an adjunct professor at Catholic University’s National School of Social Services and George Mason University. She currently serves a counselor in the Pre-Marital Ministry at Alfred Street Baptist Church and a past President of AGAPE Ministry, the church’s mental health ministry.
Dr. Reed graduated from Vassar College with a B.A in Sociology, received her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University, completed her Doctorate in Social Work at the National Catholic School of Social Services at Catholic University, and received a Certification in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. She is licensed in Maryland (2023) and Virginia (1993).
Dr. Reed lives in Alexandria, VA, with her husband; they are the parents of two adult sons.
Meet DeWayne Reed
DeWayne H. Reed is the co-founder and president of NobleTrust Consulting, LLC based in Alexandria, VA, where he is responsible for the business operations and strategy. He has extensive executive-level business development and sales experience that helps clients achieve organizational and professional goals.
His business background spans over 30 years in Program Design and Execution, Sales, Sales Leadership Training, Partnerships, Alliance Building, Project Coordination, Client Relationship Management, Executive Coaching, and Mentoring.
He is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In his downtime, DeWayne is an executive producer, songwriter, an advocate for health and social justice, and patron of the arts.
